I began my guitar journey at age 5 through the Suzuki program, where I played and studied classical guitar for 14 years. Some standout pieces includes works by Gaspar Sanz, Johann Sebastian Bach, Léo Brouwer, Isaac Albéniz, and Fernando Sor. My repertoire has since expanded to include more contemporary music, spanning both acoustic and electric styles. I am grateful to the Suzuki program, and especially my lifelong guitar teacher, Eve Weiss, for her guidance and wisdom throughout my life.
On the vocal front, I greatly value my time as part of the Greenwich Academy Madrigals Ensemble in high school, which I was honored to represent as President during my senior year. Our repertoire ranged from musical theater and pop to gospel and sacred music and spanned English, French, German, and Latin. A core memory was our 2024 International Tour to Germany, where we performed in churches across Berlin, Bautzen, and Leipzig.
I hope you enjoy some of my favorite selections below!
Prelude from Cello Suite No. 1 by Bach
Asturias by Isaac Albeniz
Canarios by Gaspar Sanz
